Yesterday Isaiah Eluk had a tremendous showing at the Class M state Championahip Track Meet. He finished 10th in Class M in the 400 meter beating his personal best time by almost a full second. In golf news, they completed their regular season with an impressive 17-5 record, with an average team score of 189! Today Sneior Luke Monarca and Freshman Sam Dunn will be representing Vinal at the CTC Championship match at Tallwood CC in Hebron. What a time to be a HAWK! The future is only getting brighter!

CTECS is hiring substitute teachers for Connecticut’s technical high schools!
An in-person hiring event will be held at Howell Cheney Technical High School, located at 791 West Middle Turnpike, Manchester, CT, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
Qualified applicants may receive job offers at the event. CTECS substitute teachers are paid $155 daily. A bachelor’s degree is required.
Registration is required to attend. Applicants should bring their resume and either a passport, or driver’s license and social security card. Contact Erin.Ryan@cttech.org for additional information.

The Criminal Justice and Protective Services Program witnessed a display of camaraderie today as Middletown police and firefighters came together for a lunchtime Hot Ones challenge – a challenge where each participant eats up to 10 chicken wings doused with a hot sauce that is spicier than the one before it! 🌶️🔥 From the first bite to the last, the officers and firefighters faced the heat head-on. This event highlighted one of the many ways that the Middletown community positively engages with our school and students. Plus, the cheers, laughter, and occasional water breaks made it an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
