It’s important to give students a chance to interact outside of the classroom and extracurricular activities and organizations are a great way to do that. Vinal Technical High School has a wide-range of options including everything from student council and National Honor Society to lacrosse.

Diversity Club
Vinal Technical High School Diversity Club has spent the last 10 years developing and implementing activities and programs to reduce prejudice and discrimination and to increase cultural, religious, racial, ethnic and gender equality including cyber bullying and bullying awareness. The major activities and programs sponsored by the club allow students the opportunity not only to devote themselves to worthy goals, but also to develop positive leadership skills. The students work year-round to plan on-target and pertinent activities. It is our hope to make the climate and culture at Vinal Tech and our local community prejudice-free and accepting of all.

GSA (Gay, Straight, Alliance) Club
The GSA is made up of students of all backgrounds regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. Their goal is to support each other, spread the idea of acceptance and help to create a safe community at Vinal Tech for all students

National Honor Society
The National Honor Society is an organization promoting recognition for students with outstanding accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership and service.
