The National Society along with SkillsUSA members delivered coats from the school wide coat drive to Street Fire Ministries in Middletown. Over 50 coats were delivered. Students also collected toys and they were donated to the Middletown South fire departments annual "Adopt a Family"  event.

Mrs. Karen Etheridge - Advisor SkillsUSA , Vinal Technical High School was very proud to escort 18 Vinal students to the Fall Leadership Conference held at the Armed Forces Training Center in Middletown, CT on Friday October 12, 2018.  The event was attended by 200 students representing their technical high schools and included workshops and team building activities. 

Kyle Leupold - Class of 2019 was elected and installed as the new President of the Connecticut SkillsUSA Chapter on Friday October, 12, 2018 at the annual Connecticut SkillsUSA Leadership Conference held at the Armed Forces Training Center in Middletown, CT. Kyle was sworn in by Ms. Heidi Griffin, the Connecticut SkillsUSA State Director.  Kyle was elected to serve for a one year term and will lead the Connecticut SkillsUSA members that are the "Champions At Work"! Kyle will also represent the Connecticut Chapter at the National SkillsUSA Convention in Louisville, Kentucky in June 2019.
