VINAL TECH PFO
(Parent Faculty/Friends Organization)
As parents and guardians of students attending Vinal Technical High School, you’re invited to join our Parent Faculty/Friends Organization (PFO).
Who We Are: The PFO is a private non-profit volunteer organization. The purpose of the
PFO is to encourage a closer association among parents, students, teachers, administrators, alumni and other members of the community who want to support the school by providing funding for social activities and supporting worthwhile school projects.
What We Do:
The PFO raises funds through a variety of fundraisers throughout the school year. We also accept donations. All students attending our school benefit from our efforts.
Below are some examples of what we have done and continue to do with the proceeds from our fundraisers:
- Provide refreshments for Field Day, Field Trips, Dances and Freshman Orientation as well as refreshments for Teacher Appreciation Week.
- Provide equipment donations to all different departments, Skills USA donations to attend the National Competition, Senior Scholarships (for most improved in all Trades), sweatshirts/t-shirts for the Senior class
- Deposit a % of individual fundraising money into students STA accounts towards class dues, when they participate in some of our specific fundraisers.

All meetings are held in the Family Engagement Center at Vinal Tech.
We welcome parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, guardians…anyone with a connection to Vinal Tech.
