Precision Machining – Manufacturing Week

On Monday, Oct. 10th the Precision Machining Students took a company tour of Sirois Tool as part of Manufacturing Week in CT. The goal of the tour was to increase student awareness of the many careers in the Manufacturing field.
The students also gained valuable insight on methods and machines used to hold tight tolerances on many of the parts that are made at Sirois Tool. Typically to one ten thousand of an inch (.0001) or less. Many thanks to Sirois Tool for hosting us.
