Student Leaders Attend Conference at SCSU

Twelve of Vinal’s Student Leaders were selected to attend a Leadership Conference at Southern Connecticut State University. Over 30 schools throughout Connecticut attended this conference, allowing our students to be exposed to people who shared different cultural values, beliefs and ways of life than them. The students were able to network with other Student Leaders, engage in meaningful workshops, and represent Vinal with so much pride. After completion of this Leadership Conference these Student Leaders were given the opportunity to reflect on what they learned about themselves and share their experience with their Vinal family. The purpose of this conference was to support some of Vinal’s Student Leaders in broadening their leadership qualities and learn ways to support their peers in making Vinal a better place.  Congratulations, students!
